The Sierra Group of Canada is a non-profit organization of business leaders, thought provoking visionary entrepreneurs and motivational speakers. Founded originally in 1997 by Dick Lawson in Victoria, BC, the original offices were located 110 Douglas Street in the old Times Colonist building. Later in 2009 the group would receive a generous donation and strategic partner (Don Halbert) and purchase a heritage building on Fort Street and Richmond which is where the corporate head offices is located today.
Our yearly Sierra summits are hosted throughout the world with a different location being selected each year from a nominated (by membership) base of locations. Topics covered at our events include leadership strategies, motivational methods for both executives and staff, entrepreneurial best practices training, social media strategies, and creating brand ambassadors of your employees to name a few. Additionally it is a fantastic opportunity for like-minded colleagues from across Canada, to converge to share ideas and promote networking through various sectors.
The original model of Sierra Summit was revised and remodeled during our strategic partnership with IMG of Victoria. Spearheaded by visionary entrepreneur Don Halbert, our group has evolved and through 2014 has shown tremendous growth.
